While most of the new cars coming up have gotten price hikes, the 2013 Audi A8L 3.0T Quattro has lost some of its sticker price, and still has some impressive updates which is pleasant surprising for this luxury styled sedan. The starting price is set to $72,200, almost $6,000 than last year’s model. There is still an additional $895 for a destination fee, but that’s to be expected. The upgraded version with the Driver Assist package, cold weather pack, LED headlamps and six disc CD changer hits the ceiling at about $85,045.
Critics still don’t like the body style the 2013 Audi A8L 3.0T Quattro is dressed with, but they all agree that this luxury sedan is one of the best handling out of its segment. They also all agree that once you get behind the wheel that what the outside of the car looks like really doesn’t matter because the interior amenities more than make up for it.
Inside the 2013 Audi A8L 3.0T Quattro you settle into a 22 way power adjustable seats which make it possible for pretty much any sized driver to find the perfect comfort setting. The technology is all there and that includes the famous Audi Multi-Media Interface Touch infotainment system. What’s new about the system though is there is no more scrolling. Instead you just write on the screen if you want to find an address or look up a phone contact. Google earth based navigation will get you to anywhere you want to go quickly and easily. There are also all sorts of other bells and whistles including adaptive cruise control, pre-sense collision warning and lane-keeping assist. With all this going on, apparently Audi didn’t think you would mind if the exterior was a little, well, on the drab side.
