The 2013 Chevrolet Spark is not new in the world, but it is new for America and it aims for the trendy hipsters who are young or young at heart. This includes the most cutting edge technology and a style that’s meant to create a statement. General Motors is excited to put this car up against the likes of the Smart ForTwo, Fiat 500 and Scion IQ and from the looks of it, it just might be a top contender in this category of cute little vehicles to jet around town in. A couple of the things that set it apart is the addition of rear seating and the fact that while it looks like a three door, the hidden C-pillar accommodates two more doors, making this car a five door for easy access.

The interior of the 2013 Chevrolet Spark offers a command central feeling with a large 7 inch touchscreen that can run any number of apps when you team it up with your favorite smart phone. A brand new feature will be released with this, called BringGo which is a specialized navigation app. This app includes benefits such as restarting your navigation if you turn your car off and even take the phone off for whatever reason.

To give you an idea of the size of the Spark, it is three inches narrower than the Mini, and about five inches taller. It is also two inches longer than the Mazda MX-5 Miata. While it’s tiny, it has 86 cubic feet of passenger space which is more than other vehicles in its class and is even roomier than the Ford Fiesta. It also has 11 cubic feet of storage, which is more than the other small cars in its category.

You’ll be able to pick up a 2013 Chevrolet Spark at a base price of $12,995, or up to $14,995 with all the bells and whistles. This includes the destination fee. Here is a video to check out to see it more for yourself.
