Dodge announced pricing on the new 2013 Dodge Dart Aero. This new Dart is the most fuel efficient in the lineup and starts at $19,295 for the base model, with an additional $795 destination fee that is not included. This new Dodge sedan features a 1.4 liter MulitAir intercooled turbo engine that has several aerodynamic enhancements to improve mileage and performance. These enhancements include lightweight chassis components, active grille shutters, underbody aero kit, a lowered profile and low-rolling resistance tires. These help the Dodge Dart Aero get up to 41 highway miles per gallon with the six speed manual transmission option, or 40 highway miles per gallon with the six speed Dual Dry Clutch Transmission (DDCT) option.

“The all-new Dodge Dart is a groundbreaking vehicle, offering features and benefits never before offered in a compact car,” said Reid Bigland, President CEO – Dodge Brand. “The new Dart Aero builds on these attributes by combining a remarkable 41mpg with interior room of a mid-size car and class-leading technology, style and safety, for only $19,295.”

Along with the improved fuel performance, the 2013 Dodge Dart Aero will include a variety of other standard options to try to win drivers over from the competition. It comes with 10 standard airbags, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control, cruise control, auto headlamps, air conditioning with micron filter, power windows and locks, power mirrors, remote keyless entry, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, projector headlamps and class-exclusive LED ‘racetrack’ taillamps. That’s a pretty sweet pot for standard options. Also available will be an 8.4-inch touchscreen media center and 7-inch TFT reconfigurable gauge cluster.

There is no news about when you can expect to test drive the 2013 Dodge Dart Aero. Production is expected to get starting sometime during the summer of next year, so we would imagine you can get your hands on one by this time in 2013.
