The wait is finally over. Kia has released some great photos of the redesigned 2013 Cerato (Forte in some countries) sedan on the web, giving curious consumers a good look at it. This newer version of the vehicle has some features that are holding a lot of attention. It has been Kia’s best-selling model and the company is confident that the redesigned Cerato will continue that trend.
The all-new 2013 Cerato will be called the “K3” in its home market of South Korea, boasting upgraded equipment, improved quality and a more spacious cabin space. The body of the car has an extended wheelbase, an all-new body shell structure and is wider, lower and longer than the current model of the vehicle. The styling of the shell is more futuristic and sports LED lamps front and back with a chrome-finished beltline. Kia also promises a revised engine line-up that gives a promise of “class-leading fuel economy.”
There are also hints regarding the 2014 Kia Forte that is battling with the home market against the Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla and the Honda Civic. Along with more details on the 2013 model of the vehicle, Kia is rather tight-lipped about the 2014 model, also. But you can rest assured that the automaker will make a big splash in the auto world when details of either model are released. You have to admit that the suspense is keeping us on the edge of our seats ready to bring the news to you.
That being said, the 2013 Kia Cerato (Forte) will be in the South Korean market later this year and in Kia dealerships in many other markets in the first quarter of 2013. It will interesting to see the market sales numbers for this redesigned model. Stay tuned for more news.
