The competition to test drive the new 2013 Nissan Altima was fierce amongst Nissan’s Facebook Followers, with only five of them getting the chance to take “upgraded” test drives as Nissan’s series “The Altima Experience” got underway. As you can imagine, the Facebook followers had all kinds of things to say in order to get their chance at becoming one of the chose five to experience the ultimate test drive experience, usually only offered to car critics. One follower, who ended up being in the five lucky drivers, Paul, had an unusual twist to earning his spot. Paul told Nissan that his girlfriend, Jane, loves the way the Nissan Altima handles and promised Nissan that he would propose to her at the track if they chose him to be one of the five drivers.
Well, Nissan must have a true romance soft spot because of course Paul was chosen and he and his girlfriend got to put the 2013 Nissan Altima through its paces in ways most drivers will never have the opportunity to without risking traffic violations. Not only was Paul chosen, but Nissan went the extra mile or so to make this proposal amazing for the happy couple. It is clear in the video that Jane has no clue what is about to happen. Nissan arranged to have a four car lineup involved in the proposal contest and the emotions captured from this proposal are worth sharing with all your “true love” fan friends.
Not only did Nissan arrange to help with the proposal by letting Paul and Jane go for the “The Altima Experience” upgraded test drive, and support Paul’s marriage proposal efforts, but they had a quaint yet top of the line looking engagement party arranged. This would have been awkward if Jane had said no, but who can resist this type of romantic gesture?
