GoSmart Technologies announced this week that they had completed the installation of electric vehicle charging equipment per an agreement with an anonymous Fortune 500 company. The charging stations will benefit a new data center being constructed in North Carolina. The project is being developed to receive an unprecedented Platinum LEED Certification.
ChargeSPOT is a networked based electric vehicle charging unit. It complies with industry standards for EV charging and uses a Linux-based single board computer. The processing unit will run custom software and sensor inputs to control the flow of electricity within the station. The web-based interface will allow users to view their energy usage and help with calculating emissions reductions.
Brian Smith, CEO of GoSmart Technologies, says, “We are extremely proud to have the opportunity of being a part of a Platinum LEED Certified project. It shows the dedication from these companies and the mindset of changing our future. This project will support he widening electric car market in the Southeast, and allows the client to reap the benefits of low-cost, environmentally friendly charging technologies at their new facilities.”
GoSmart Technologies is located in Denver, Colorado. For more information visit http://www.gosmarttechnologies.com.
