Honda unveiled its new Configurator to help you pick out the new 2013 Accord of your dreams. Ok, you probably won’t see your new Accord on clouds of greatness floating above you flooded in sunshine with a chorus of angels singing, but you have to admit the Configurator gives you a lot of options.
If you’re the “bread-and-butter” type, you can choose from eight different trim packages with the basic 2013 LX model starting out at a reasonable price range around $22,470 including a $790 destination charge. If you want to go a bit higher in amenities to the Touring package, the range is around $34,220 with the destination charge.
Adding even more to the 2013 Accord that you want, you can move up to the EX-L with a 2.4-liter, 185 horsepower four-cylinder engine or even a V6 engine with the six-speed automatics that can also be had with the CVT package.
Of course, if you are an enthusiast of mid-sized cars you not only want some power but interior amenities as well. There is a whole list to choose from that a dealer probably wouldn’t have time to recite to you, so it’s best to see them in the Configurator and choose them for yourself. Remember that each one does have a price tag, so take a look at your final price in accordance with your purchasing budget. For example, a remote engine start system with the key fob is about $400, which looks like one of the best deals of the bunch.
Here is another consideration: Buyers that opt for 6MTs (manual transmissions) are limited in purchasing the vehicles in only black and gray. However, Accord Sport CVT purchasers have a choice of eight colors: blue, red, and different grayish-silver tones. That’s something to spark the interest of enthusiastic drivers of the 2013 Honda Accord.
