Locally owned and operated automotive care and repair center, Atlantic Tire & Service will hold the second of its three part series of car care clinics at the Cary, North Carolina store location on September 22. The clinic, which runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., will be focusing on teaching teens and young drivers how to maintain their vehicle on a day-to-day basis. It will also cover what to do in an emergency situation.
The free clinic will include the following topics: how to make your car last longer, how and when to check fluids, the proper way to jump-start your battery, how to check air pressure and tread on your tires, how to change a tire and basic safe driving habits.
The evening will include prize drawings for an iPod and iTunes gift cards as well as refreshments. Atlantic Tire will provide each attendee with a bag including: oil change coupons, digital tire pressure gauges and other great gifts.
“It’s really critical for teens and young drivers to have the confidence and know-how to feel comfortable behind the wheel of their vehicles,” said Anthony Blackman, owner of Atlantic Tire & Service. “We at Atlantic Tire are excited to present this opportunity to teen drivers because we know how important it is for teens to learn the basics early.”
Teens and young drivers interested in taking advantage of the free chance to learn how to take care of their vehicle are invited to the Atlantic Tire & Service Cary Store located at 1380 Northwest Maynard Road on September 22 from 6 p.m. to 8:p.m.
